San Joaquin County Office of Education
The San Joaquin County Office of Education is a regional agency that provides educational leadership, resources, and customized services to assist school districts. The SJCOE promotes student achievement and accountability, serves San Joaquin County’s most vulnerable students, and strives to create an environment in which every student, regardless of circumstances, has an opportunity for a quality education. San Joaquin County is home to 14 public school districts with 255 schools, including charter schools, and more than 153,000 students. Each independent school district is governed by an elected board of trustees. The San Joaquin County Office of Education (SJCOE) provides a variety of services to support students and educators. Collaborative efforts between the SJCOE and school districts help ensure all students have access to a high-quality education.

San Joaquin County Delta College
Offering more than 200 degrees and certificates, Delta College is a top destination for students in the San Joaquin Valley and Mother Lode wishing to learn a new trade, upgrade their skills, or earn transfer units to four-year colleges and universities. Established in 1963, the College serves a diverse population of over 26,000 students at its campuses in Stockton and Mountain House, as well as online and at satellite facilities across the region.

San Joaquin Adult Education Consortium
The San Joaquin Adult Education Consortium (SJAEC) represents 9 member agencies dedicated to accelerating the progress of adult learners by collaborating with partners to provide pathways and bridges leading to learners’ success in college, career, and community. The consortium vision is that adults in the region, no matter which school or partner organization they access, have the opportunity to increase skills and transition to a program providing a post-secondary credential leading to a job with living wages.

San Joaquin Partnership
The San Joaquin Partnership is a private, non-profit economic development corporation that works to position companies and communities for economic success throughout the region. As a centrally located transportation hub with access to roadways, rail, waterways, and air, it serves as the gateway to the world. What They Do: Business Attraction, Retention, and Expansion: The Partnership focuses on attracting, retaining, and expanding businesses into and throughout San Joaquin County and its eight incorporated cities: Stockton, Lodi, Manteca, Lathrop, Tracy, Ripon, Escalon, and Mountain House.

San Joaquin County WorkNet
San Joaquin County WorkNet is a proud partner of the America’s Job Center of California (AJCC) Network, operating one Comprehensive Center and four Affiliate Sites. Each center provides job seekers with access to computers, phones, fax, internet, and various resources to assist with career exploration and preparation. Additionally, these centers offer services to employers, including assistance with recruiting qualified individuals and providing training opportunities through the On-the-Job Training Program.
